《无机材料导论》双语课程教学初探

Study on Bilingual Teaching in the "Introduction to Inorganic Materials"

培养具有一定跨语言交流能力的应用型人才是工程专业的基本要求。《无机材料导论》是无机非金属材料工程专业的一门专业基础课程,担负着培养学生综合应用英语学习材料科学基础知识、提高专业英语交流能力的重任。根据近几年来从事《无机材料导论》双语课程教学的实践经验,从教材选择、教学内容、课堂设计和考核方式等方面,分析了《无机材料导论》双语教学的特点及存在的问题,并提出了提高双语教学质量的建议。

It is the basic requirement for engineering specialty to cultivate the applied talents with certain intercultural communication ability. ＂Introduction to Inorganic Materials＂ is a professional basic course for non-metallic material engineering,which is responsible for cultivating students’ comprehensive application of learning fundamental knowledge of materials science in English and improving professional English communication ability. Based on the practical experience of bilingual teaching in inorganic materials in recent years,the characteristics and existing problems of bilingual teaching of inorganic materials was analyzed from the aspects of teaching material selection,teaching content,classroom design and assessment methods,and some suggestions to improve bilingual teaching quality were given.
