也谈科技期刊中几种常见分子生物学名词符号的规范编排 被引量:3

Editorial Standardization of Several Common Symbols in Molecular Biology Papers

摘要 随机选取近几年刊登分子生物学论文较多的中文科技期刊80种、英文科技期刊(SCI收录)50种,检索每刊2016年以来发表的论文2~4篇,统计其中基因符号、基因位点符号、引物符号、分子标记符号、基因芯片型号以及引物序列转行时的编排格式。结果表明,大多数中文期刊发表的论文中,这些符号的编排格式不规范,或者同一种符号的正斜体在不同论文中不统一;而英文期刊中类似问题则不明显。根据《TIG遗传命名指南》及国内外相关文献,总结出这些名词符号的规范编排格式,并建议有关部门尽快制定分子生物学符号编排格式的国家标准,让期刊编辑有据可依。 Molecular biology papers published in 80 Chinese scientific journals and 50 English scientific journals(SCI source journals)in recent years were selected randomly. 2~4 papers published in each journal since 2016 were retrievedto investigate the editorial standardization of symbols of gene,genetic locus,primers,molecular markers,gene chip and primer sequences. The results showed that in most Chinese journals,the formatting of these symbols is not standardized,the straight or italic of the same symbol is not uniform in different papers. This similar problem rarely appears in English journals. According to TIG Genetic Naming Guidelines and related references both at home and abroad,the standard format of these symbols was summed up and it suggests that relevant departments should develop national standards about molecu-lar biology symbol format as soon as possible to provide relevant basis for journal editors.
