书法是中国艺术的典范形式,中国艺术的生命精神在书法中得到充分体现。汉字以"象"为本,它以笔墨组合、线条结构、形式创造等方式构建了中国书法独特的精神品格。书法以取象造势的方式内蕴了宇宙万物的生命情趣,这一特点决定了中国书法的美学趣尚,使之成为中国人生命智慧的结晶。

Calligraphy is the canonical form of Chinese arts whose life spirit is vividly depicted in calligraphy. Chinese charac- ters, based on pictographs, have constructed a unique spirit of Chinese calligraphy through the combination of brush and ink, line structure and form innovation. Life and sentiment of the universe is inwardly implicated in Chinese calligraphy in a way of optimizing pictograph to innovate which determine the aesthetic quality of Chinese calligraphy, making it become the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese people.
