旧体诗词一直受到国人的广泛喜爱和传诵,当下更是受到媒体热捧,相对而言,新诗(现代诗)却处境尴尬,传播广度相当有限。新诗的问题首先出在自身,同时学校教育也有责任。新诗需要反思,在传播推广上积极探索。诗人创作、学校教育、大众媒体等可共同联手,诗歌界和教育界应共同努力,用行动改变诗歌"厚古薄今"的状况。

Chinese poetry is always being loved and read by people, and now is also generating media＇s publicity. In contrast, modem Chinese poetry is not as popular as Chinese poetry. The school education ac- counts for modem Chinese poetry＇s unpopularity, and the poetry should reflect itself too. The poetic and edu- eational eireles should work together to make modem Chinese poetry as popular as Chinese poetry.
