摘要
光纤强度是评价光纤性能的重要指标之一,其性能优劣可直接影响光通信的可靠性。本文基于相关断裂理论,通过分析拉丝过程中的光纤断点特征,定性地讨论了光纤生产过程中断裂源的形成原因。分析了光纤强度的主要影响因素,初步建立了一套较为完整的光纤断裂源的检测及分析方法。
Optical fiber strength is one of the important indexes of its performance evaluation, which can directly affect the reliability of the optical communication. Based on the related theory of fracture, through analyzing the characteristic of the fiber breaks in the process of drawing, the reason for the formation of fracture during the process was discussed qualitatively, the main factors of fiber strength were analyzed, a completely method to analyze fiber breaks was built initially.
