Study on Rural Female Education in Henan Province from the Perspective of Gender

摘要 农村女性教育是教育中相对薄弱的环节,需要引起广泛的关注。河南省经济欠发达、城镇化率较低的省情决定了农村女性教育存在着女性总体受教育水平低、接受继续教育较难等问题。从性别的视角审视,不难发现男尊女卑的传统观念和性别刻板印象是造成农村女性教育现状的主要原因。因此,本文认为改变人们的传统观念、提高农村女性自觉学习的意识并且为女性提供有利的就业环境是改变农村女性教育现状的行之有效的方法。 Rural female education is a relatively weak link in education,which needs to arouse wide attention. The provincial situation of underdeveloped economy and low urbanization rate in Henan province determines that there are some problems in rural female education,such as low education level and difficulty in receiving continuing education. From the perspective of gender,it is not difficult to find out the traditional concept and gender stereotype is the main cause of the rural female education status. Therefore,this paper thinks that changing people's traditional ideas,raising the awareness of rural women's conscious learning and providing a favorable employment environment for women is an effective way to change the status quo of rural women education.
