Research Advances on Epidemic Characteristics and Control Strategy of Duck Newcastle Disease

鸭新城疫是由新城疫病毒引起的,能够导致鸭死亡和产蛋率下降的一种急性传染病。最近几年,鸭新城疫的发病呈现上升趋势,对国内养鸭业造成巨大危害。文章对鸭新城疫流行病学和综合防控策略两方面进行了分析,为国内更好地防控鸭新城疫提供理论基础。

Duck Newcastle disease （ND）is an acute and fatal infectious disease caused by Newcastle disease virus （NDV）, which can lead to death and decline in egg production of ducks. In recent years, the infection of duck NDV was on the rise, which led to substantial loss in domestic duck industry. Overall epidemiology and control strategy of duck ND were summarized in the this paper to lay the foundation of the control of duck ND.
