蠓虫是重要的吸血昆虫,其种类繁多、分布广泛,由于蠓虫可以通过吸血而传播多种人或动物性疾病,因此蠓虫也是重要的医学昆虫。本文重点叙述了蠓虫的生活习性,国内外蠓虫的种类,特别介绍了国内外吸血蠓虫及其传播的病毒,由蠓传病毒所引起的人类和动物性疾病及其公共卫生问题等,以此推动我国相关研究。

Midges are a group of important blood-sucking insects with many kinds of small flies and wide environmentaldistribution. As midges can spread a variety of human and animal diseases caused by blood-sucking, midges are also importantmedical insects. This paper focuses on the life habits of midges and the classification of midges at home and abroad, especiallyintroduces the domestic and international blood-sucking midges and their transmitted viruses, and makes a discussion aboutthe human or animal diseases and public health problems caused by midges-borne viruses, which can be used as a referencefor promoting related research in China.
