摘要
双元创新在激烈的竞争环境中尤为重要,它对提高组织绩效起着十分重要的作用。本文基于双元理论和资源基础理论,构建了一个资源组合方式、双元创新和组织绩效的整合模型。对我国190家医院的数据进行实证分析的结果表明,资源内部开发和资源外部获取都促进了双元创新,并且两者是互为补充的。此外,组织规模正向调节了资源内部开发和双元创新的关系,而负向调节了资源外部获取和双元创新的关系。实践中,企业可以通过资源外部获取和内部开发两种途径来实现双元创新活动。另外,为了实现双元创新,大企业应该更加充分利用自身的资源,而小企业则应该注重吸收外部资源。
Ambidextrous innovation is very important in the fiercely competitive environment, and it will improve organizational performance. Based on ambidexterity theory and resource based view, this study attempts to build an integrated model of resource structuring methods, ambidextrous innovation and organization performance. This research does an empirical analysis with 190 hospitals in China. The results indicate that both resources of internal development and resources of external acquisition benefit the ambidextrous innovation. And they are complementary to each other. Moreover, organization size positively moderates the relationship between resources of internal development and ambidextrous innovation. But the moderating effect for resources of external acquisition is negative. In practice, organizations should utilize both external acquisition and internal development methods to implement ambidextrous innovation. Furthermore, in order to realize ambidextrous innovation, big enterprises should make full use of their own resources , while small enterprises should pay attention to absorbing external resources.
