绿茶饮增强小鼠的嗅觉记忆和短时空间记忆

摘要 【目的】考察绿茶饮对正常小鼠嗅觉和短时空间记忆的影响,为绿茶的保健功能研发提供新思路。【方法】绿茶饮组小鼠饮用2%绿茶12周、对照组小鼠饮用纯净水12周后,采用气味辨别实验检测小鼠的嗅觉记忆水平,训练和测试间隔40或80 min;采用Y迷宫实验检测小鼠的短时空间记忆水平,训练和测试间隔1、2或4 h。【结果】气味辨别实验间隔80 min时测试,绿茶饮组小鼠嗅闻柠檬气味的时间显著少于其嗅闻盐水的时间(P<0.05),而对照组小鼠嗅闻柠檬气味和盐水的时间没有差异;Y迷宫间隔4 h时测试,绿茶饮组小鼠在新异臂的停留时间显著多于其在另外两个臂的(P<0.01),也显著高于对照组小鼠的新异臂停留时间(P<0.05)。【结论】绿茶饮可以增强正常小鼠的嗅觉和短时空间记忆能力,可尝试开发用于预防和治疗嗅觉障碍相关疾病。 [ Purpose ] To provide new ideas for the health-care function of green tea, the effect of green tea extract (GTE) on olfactory memory and short-term spatial memory were investigated in mice. [ Method] The GTE group and the control group were orally administrated 2% GTE or pure water for 12 weeks. Odor discrimination apparatus were used to test the olfactory memory, and the inter-trail in- terval (ITI) were 40 or 80 min. Y-maze apparatus were used to test the short-term spatial memory, and the ITI were 1,2, or 4 h. [ Results] At 80 min ITI, GTE-treated mice, not the control mice, re- tained a memory of the odor that had been previously presented (P 〈 0.05 ). At 4h ITI, GTE - treated mice showed significantly higher percentage of novel arm time than other two arms (P 〈 0. 01 ), and the percentage of novel arm time of GTE group was significantly higher than the control group ( P 〈 0. 05). [ Conclusion] Olfactory memory and short-term spatial memory were improved by long-termadministration of GTE in mice, which suggested that green tea may be used for the prevention and treatment of olfactory disorder related diseases.
