摘要
本研究通过对近五年江苏高考英语试题阅读文章的长度、 阅读速度、 易读度、 词汇密度、 题目设置的技能考查和理解层次六个方面的分析, 发现每年阅读总词数都超过 2200, 阅读速度平均为 77 词/分钟, 阅读理解文本的平均易读度为57.1, 属于 “较难” .阅读文本的类符/形符比的均值为 0.41, 而且近三年来, 词汇难度越来越大.阅读技能考查推理判断题占比最大, 近一半. 侧重对深层理解的考查, 考题有一定的难度. 建议教师鼓励学生加强课外阅读, 训练学生的阅读速度, 适当增加阅读文本的难度, 多阅读原汁原味的英语报刊、 杂志、 文学作品简写本等.
This paperexamines reading comprehension items tested in Jiangsu NMET between 2013 and2017 in terms of reading length, reading speed, readability, vocabulary density, tested skills andunderstanding levels. The analysis shows that the total length is above 2200, and the average reading speed is77 words per minute. The readability is 57.1, which is fairly difficult. The type/ token ratio is 0.41, and it isgetting harder and harder in recent years. Based on the analysis, some suggestions on the paper-designing andteaching are offered.
