Objective: To explore the chain mediating effect of self-esteem and resilience between mindfulness and life satisfaction. Methods: A sample of 438 college students was recruited in the study to complete Mindful Attention Aware- ness Scale, Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and Satisfaction with Life Scale. Results: Correlation analysis showed that, mindfulness, self-esteem, resilience and life satisfaction correlated significantly with each other. Path analysis indicated that the direct effect of mindfulness on life satisfaction was not significant; Mindfulness affect- ed life satisfaction indirectly not only through the mediating effect of self-esteem, but also through the chain mediating ef- fect of self-esteem and resilience. Conclusion: Mindfulness could exert effect on life satisfaction through the mediational chains of self-esteem and resilience.
