新时代中国社会主要矛盾是人民日益增长的美好生活需要和不平衡不充分的发展之间的矛盾,必须坚持以人民为中心的发展思想。以人民为中心是马克思主义政治经济学的特有品质和根本立场。中国特色社会主义发展已经进入新时代,要把马克思主义政治经济学的这一特有品质与中国经济建设相结合,着力践行以人民为中心的经济发展思想,在经济发展过程中要做到发展为了人民、发展依靠人民、发展成果由人民共享。这一重要思想对于更好指导新时代中国特色社会主义经济发展实践、推动建设社会主义现代化强国具有重要意义。实现以人民为中心的经济发展,推进供给侧结构性改革是其直接动力,践行落实共享发展理念是其关键步骤,作出更为合理有效的制度安排是其根本保障,全面建成小康社会是其现实检验。

＂The principal contradiction of our society is the contradiction between people＇s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development; therefore we must adhere to the people-centered development thought.＂ This important statement shows that ＂with people as the center＂ is the unique quality and fundamental standpoint of Marxism Political Economics. As Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, we have to combine the unique quality of Marxism Political Economics with the facts of economic construction of our country, and pay attention to perform people-centered economic thought stressing that development is for the people and relies on the people, and development results are shared by the people in the process of economic development. This important thought has important significance to better guide the development practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and to promote the construction of modem and powerful socialist country. To achieve people-centered economic development, the direct driving force is to promote the supply side structural reform; the key step is to implement the idea of share development; the fundamental guarantee is to make more rational and effective institutional arrangements; the reality check is to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
