摘要
以12名母语为汉语的英语专业三年级学生为受试,依据Langacker的参照点理论提出受试者依托参照点来识解双关深层含义的假设。并运用有声思维方式收集数据,获得了参照点对双关深层含义识解的因果关系。借助突显的词汇,受试者才能识解双关深层含义,突显词汇的突显度存在差异,因而影响受试者对双关深层含义的识解。突显的词汇是参照点R,而受试者依托R要识解的双关深层含义即目标T。
Based on Langacker's Reference Point Theory,we propose the hypothesis that the EFL learners choose prominent words as the reference points to reach the deep meaning of a pun when they comprehend the pun. To confirm this hypothesis,we use the Thinking-aloud method to collect data by observing the 12 participants interpreting the cognitive process of pun. The investigation shows: With the help of prominent words,the EFL learners can reach the deep meaning of a pun; There remain some differences in the prominence of vocabulary of different kinds of puns,which influence the EFL learners to reach the deep meaning of the pun. The result shows: prominent word is reference point,the EFL learners reach the deep meaning of the pun T by means of the prominent words.
