Objective To explore the clinical efect of fipped class model in the surgical teaching. Methods 96 clinical medical students of calss 2014 studied in our university were selected. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups, 48 cases in each group. The control group received the conventional teaching mode; the study group received the micro-course and fipped class model. The teaching efciency was observed. Results Through the observation of the teaching effect of the two groups, the study group learning ability, learning interest, expression ability, fexible movement of knowledge, teamwork and knowledge expansion degree scores were higher than the control group, the diferences were statistically significant (t=6.556, 6.980, 4.994, 6.039, 5.046, 5.015, P 〈 0.05); The degree of satisfaction was 91.67% higher than that of the control group 81.25%, and the difference was statistically significant (χ^2=4.637, P 〈 0.05). Conclusion The micro-course and flipped class model is of great importance in the surgical teaching, can greatly improve the teaching quality and the student’s autonomous learning ability, cultivate the learning interests and expand their knowledge.
