It first gives brief introduction of different ITU-T standard of data transmission technology for copper wire. Then it focuses on the new G.Fast standard with Gigabit transmission rate on copper wire,including key technology,comparison with VDSL2,and G.Fast deployment scenario. It also gives the example for latest customer activities to support G.Fast deployment. Finally it summarizes the evolution of G.Fast and opportunity in the future.
