摘要
美国的社区学院兴起于19世纪末的初级学院运动,以其独特的、有针对性的课程吸引着大批学生到社区学院进行学习深造,是美国高等教育的重要组成部分。以美国圣地亚哥社区学院中的圣地亚哥梅萨学院为例,从其"量身定做"的课程培养目标、合理的课程分配比例、系统多样的课程内容等三个方面,可以看出美国社区学院的课程特色并可以得到若干启示。
American community college sprang up in the junior college movement in the late nineteenth century. It attracts a large number of students to community colleges for further studies because of its unique and targeted curricula. In addition, American community college is an important part of American higher education. This article takes San Diego Mesa College as an example and analyzes the curriculum characteristics of American community college from three aspects of the "tailored" curriculum learning objectives, reasonable allocation of curricula and systematic curriculum contents. Its enlightenments can be given to the development of higher vocational education in China.
