摘要
以沪深两市2012—2014年的主板上市公司为研究样本,实证检验了高管团队异质性对企业内部控制质量的影响,考察了CEO权力对高管团队异质性与内部控制质量关系的调节作用。研究结果表明:当期来看,高管团队较大的性别异质性、年龄异质性、学历异质性以及较小的任期异质性有助于企业内部控制质量的提升;滞后一期来看,较大的性别异质性、学历异质性以及较小的年龄异质性、任期异质性有助于企业内部控制质量的提升;随着CEO权力的增大,高管团队异质性对内部控制质量的影响在减弱。
Based on the data of A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2012 to 2014, this paper empirically examines the direct effect of the heterogeneity of top management team (TMT) on the quality of corporate internal control, as well as the moderating effect of CEO's power between them. The result shows that, in current period, a higher heterogeneity of gender, age and educational background and a lower heterogeneity of tenure all positively improve the quality of corporate internal control. However, with one lagged model, a higher heterogeneity of gender and educational background, also a lower heterogeneity of tenure and age could improve the quality of corporate internal control. Moreover, the increase of CEO's power could reduce the effect of TMT's het- erogeneity on the quality of corporate internal control.
