The general survey of the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Pueraria lobata was reviewed and summarized by consulting the relevant literature of the last 20 years.Puerarin has effects on expelling pathogenic factors from muscles for clearing heat,promoting eruption,promoting fluid production to quench thirst,raising yang and arresting diarrhea,Its chemical composition is mainly isoflavone compound Puerarin,with the effect of antipyretic,analgesic,antiseptic,anti infection,antihypertensive,hypoglycemic,antilipidemia,antioxidation,antitumor and antialcoholism.To summarize the research progress of the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Pueraria lobata,and provide reference for the development and utilization.
