《文心雕龙》与佛教四句例

Wenxindiaolong(《文心雕龙》)and Tetralemma

本文通过梳理《文心雕龙》中的辩证方法,指出刘勰在分析对立概念时,运用了佛教四句例的分析程式,点明其在辩证思想和论述方式上受到佛教的影响。并以此说明,刘勰对文质、情采、繁略、雅俗、今古等两个相互矛盾方面的调和,并非基于儒家执两用中的观点,也不仅仅局限于佛教双谴双非的论述形式,而是通过四句例的分析流程,消除对一隅的偏见,主张以佛教"圆照"的方式来博观万端之变,使创作及作品能够达到无碍之圆境。

Through sorting out the dialectical method in Wenxindiaolong, this paper argues that Liu Xie applied the pattern of tetralemma when analyzing the opposite concepts, and claims that his dialectical thoughts and discussion mode are under the influence of Buddhism. Furthermore, based on such perspective, this paper claims that compared with Confucian impartial view or the Buddhist two-fold negation pattern, Liu Xie＇s coordination between two contradictory aspects, such as form and content, emotion and literary grace, complication and simplicity, elegance and popularity, classicality and contemporary literature, avoided the narrow and bigoted opinion through the analysis process of tetralemma. Moreover, from Liu Xie＇s point of view, it helps achieve the integrate harmony in creation and works when observing the variation of everything in the way of ＂Yuanzhao＂ in Buddhism.
