Clearing up the Misunderstandings of “the CYL Preexists the CPC”

团与党究竟谁先诞生的问题,学术界存在争论。在共青团发展的历史上,"团先于党成立"这样一种说法也曾相当流行。从中国共产党、中国青年团创立的历史过程和党、团的概念看,此说法存在认识上的误区,是不科学的。

There has been a dispute about whether the birth of the CYL predates that of the CPC. Over the development of the CYL,the saying that the CYL preexists the CPC used to be popular. However,on the basis of the development of the CPC,the establishment of China Youth League,and the definitions of the CYL and the CPC,it is obvious that the saying has not been correctly understood and also is not scientific.
