There are two sets of 0.8 million tons of emission reduction and desulfurization of sulfuric acid tail gas of environmental protection production lines in Yunnan Tian＇an Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. In the two production lines,weak aqua ammonia is used to absorb the sulfuric acid, producing sulfur dioxide in the exhaust. The density of ammonium sulphate liquid scrubbed and absorbed is an important technique index. It is very difficult to realize on-line monitoring and automatic control. This paper introduces in detail the theory,and field use and maintenance methods in the measurement of the density of ammonium sulphate liquid with the use of mass flow meter produced by Emerson Electric Company, providing references for counterparts in this industry and instrument maintenance workers.
