黑人性神话视阈下《奥赛罗》悲剧成因的再读

Reinterpretation of Causes of Tragedy in Othello in the Perspective of Black Sex Myth

借助弗兰茨·法侬在《黑皮肤,白面具》中的观点,从黑人性神话角度出发,结合文本细读法探讨《奥赛罗》的悲剧成因。研究发现白人社会对黑人"超强性能力"的恐惧是《奥赛罗》悲剧产生的一个重大根源,而奥赛罗也为消除"黑人性神话"观念做出努力,但最终还是受到白人社会"阉割",以失败告终。

Drawing upon the views of Frantz Fanon expressed in his masterpiece Black Skin,White Masks,referring to the concept of black sex myth,and combined with the intensive textual analysis,this paper aims to analyze causes of tragedy in Othello. The findings show that the whites ＇ fear for the tremendous sexual powers of the blacks is the root of tragedy in Othello. Othello has also made great efforts to eliminate the bad effects of the concept of ＂black sex myth＂and to try to fit into the white society;however,he fails and is ruthlessly＂castrated ＂by the whites in the end.
