Under the times background of nationwide reading,the reading promotion activities of university library have become one of the most important service ways of library. The importance of reading promotion activities from three aspects is analyzed in this article: the concept of reading promotion,the significance of reading promotion activities and the measures to promote the reading promotion activities of university libraries,so as to cultivate the interest of readers,improve the comprehensive quality of the whole nation.
