This paper introduces the abnormal overopening of the valve during the steam purging test of the side valve of theSanmen nuclear power turbine,analyzes the causes of the abnormal valve,and rebuilds the valve with the technical support of themanufacturer. At the same time,some suggestions are put forward for the follow-up operation and maintenance.
