吐蕃文契约文书所呈现的习惯法是研究吐蕃历史、文化、政治、经济、社会、法律的重要材料。近年来,随着国内外专家学者对相关吐蕃文出土资料和传世文献整理与研究的深入,法律社会契约类文书研究成果的发表、出版日渐增多,有必要对其进行系统梳理,从而为进一步研究中世纪吐蕃历史文化、法律政治、经济社会、民族关系等问题提供重要的文献资料。

The common laws showed in the Tibetan contract documents are the significant material to research the Tibetan history,culture,polity,economy,society and law. In recent years,with the research on the Tibetan unearthed data and literature by experts and scholars at home and abroad,a scientific arrangement should be done. It a way to provide the data and literature for further research problems on the Tibetan history and culture,economy and society,ethnic relations and so on.
