Intelligent EMU for Beijing-Zhangjiakou Line——A Milestone from "Created in China" to "Intelligent Manufacturing in China"

京张铁路是我国第一条自行设计和建造的铁路,是中国百年工业文明的象征,近日被列入中国工业遗产保护名录.如今,一条续写百年京张铁路新辉煌的京张城际铁路,即将为京张发展迎来“高铁时代”.它将是京津冀一体化协同发展的经济服务线,2022是年北京冬奥会的交通保障线,也是中国高铁建设成就的创新示范线.

Beijing Zhangjiakou Railway was the first railway line independently designed and built in China symbolizing the hundred-year industrial civilization of China and the starting point of rail transit industry in China. This line has been included in the Industrial Heritage Protection List of China. Today a new Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway line （simplified as B-Z Line） willsustain the resplendence of the hundred year Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway and anticipate a ＂High speed Rail Era＂ for this region.At the same time this line will serve as an economic service line for the integrated collaborative development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area and a traffic guarantee line for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. It is regarded as a demonstration line showingthe innovation achievements of high-speed railway construction in China .
