摘要
晚清以来,骈文受冷落的同时,骈散正统之争逐渐倾向于骈散相用,骈文的重心也由江浙转到湖湘。民国以后,随着白话文的出现,骈文创作活动越来越势微,到了四十年代,骈文和古文都淡出文坛。从晚清到民国,湖南涌现出曾国藩、周寿昌、王闿运、谭嗣同等一批骈文作家,他们关切时政,骈散相用,兼重情理,作品短小精悍,弃博丽而尚轻倩。
Since the late Qing Dynasty,while the parallel prose had been snubbed,the struggle between the parallel prose and the prose tends to be used in both of them and the center of gravity of parallel prose has shifted from Zhejiang and Jiangsu to Hunan.After the Republic of China,with the advent of vernacular,the parallel prose gradually faded out of the literary world.The parallel prose and the ancient prose are both faded out of the literary world at the time of 1940 s.From the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,agroup of parallel prose writers appeared,such as,Zeng Guofan,Zhou Shouchang,Wang Yunyun and Tan Sitong.They cared about the current politics,used both the parallel prose and the prose and pay attention to both reason and emotion.Their works are short and small,but pithy and vigorous.
