Health Policy and Management in The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,USA is the leading department related to health service management worldwide.It has a mature system of academic PhD cultivation.This study analyzed its guideline for academic PhD and summarized its characteristics,finally provided comments on academic PhD cultivation of health service management in China.
