In the Qing dynasty,the writings on febrile diseases were abundant,which made the prefaces and postscripts written become a common social phenomenon at the time.Prefaces and postscripts is an important part of medical books,medical books contained a rich content of traditional Chinese medicine and extensive and profound culture,often can see a segment of a whole.With the seasonal febrile disease medical value is constantly medical mining,its prefaces and postscripts should also be gradually concerned by the academia.Prefaces and postscripts of medical works about febrile diseases in Qing dynasty were numerous,mainly about the authors＇ life stories,education,academic origin,disciplinary development history as well as publication and spreading of author＇s works.To understand prefaces and postscripts of medical works about febrile diseases has a great reference value for analyzing medical works about febrile diseases.This article takes prefaces and postscripts of medical works about febrile diseases as the breakthrough point,studies development path of febrile disease theory reflected in the prefaces and postscripts of medical works and to provide a theoretical basis for the study of the Qing dynasty of seasonal febrile disease.
