哲学与隐喻——对哲学话语的思考

Philosophy and Metaphor: A Reflection on Philosophical Discourse

哲学被认为是一个由冷推理构成的世界,但如果我们从语言的本性、哲学的修辞写作和哲学建构意义的运作机制进行分析,就会发现隐藏于哲学的冷推理之下的隐喻面孔。隐喻无疑对哲学是危险的,它诱惑理性出轨。但如果哲学没有隐喻,那将对哲学带来不可弥补的损害,因为那样的话它将既不可能讨论可能世界,也不能畅明人类对其可能道路的询问和自由实践的价值判断是如何深度介入到了哲学认识论的建构之中的。因此,对哲学话语中隐喻介入意义建构的揭示,将使我们突破规范哲学的单一的逻辑范式,形成一种在逻辑与隐喻思维张力关系中的哲学认识论新范式。

Philosophy is considered as a world made up of cool reasoning. But if we make some deep analyses in the nature of language, and on the basis of the operative mechanism of the rhetoric writing and constructive meaning of philosophy, we will find its metaphorical face that is hidden in the cool reasoning of philosophy. Undoubtedly, metaphor is dangerous for philosophy, for it may tempt reason out of the ways. But if philosophy was without metaphor, it would be damaged irreparably, because in that case it would be impossible for human beings to discuss the possible world, open the ways that they could inquire their possible road for their future, or make it clear howthe value judgments of practical freedom could involve in the construction of philosophical epistemology. Therefore, the revealing of the meaning construction of metaphor in philosophical discourse will enable us to break through the single logical paradigm of ＂normal philosophy＂, and to form a new paradigm of philosophical epistemology which holds the tension between logic and metaphorical thinking.
