新西兰华侨华人在世界反法西斯战争中,与新西兰人民并肩作战,同时大力支持祖国抗日战争,显示出对侨居国的无限热爱和情系祖国的赤子之心。在侨居国,他们参军服役,与当地民众携手抗敌,不惜牺牲生命;侨农组织积极响应当地政府号召,支持盟军反攻作战。面对祖国抗战的严峻形势,他们第一时间整合华人社团,办刊办报宣传时事,激发华人群体的爱国热情;组织持久募捐,且人均捐款居世界华人之首,为祖国抗战作出了贡献。

During the anti-Fascist war, overseas Chinese in New Zealand fought along with the natives of New Zealand.At the same time, they greatly supported the Chinese people’s war of resistance against the Japanese aggression.It showsthe love of overseas Chinese towards New Zealand and their home country.The Dominion Federation of New Zealand Chinese Commercial Growers actively answered the call of the local government, supporting the allied forces in the counterattack. When confronting with the severe situation of Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japan, New Zealand Chinese immediately organized Chinese societies, published newspapers and magazines, and promotedpatriotismamong overseas Chinese.Due to theireffective mobilization and disciplinary measures, they raised money for a long period of time.The per capita donation exceeded that of other overseas Chinese around the world.
