Chengdu lacquer art has important position and influence in the history of Chinese lacquer art.This paper focuses on the origin,the main characteristics and development process of the Chengdu lacquer art in the long history,especially the present situation,the inheritance and development and craft skills of regional culture characteristics of contemporary lacquer art in Chengdu.
