Teachers＇ teaching philosophy is their personal expression on teaching goals,teaching beliefs and values,which is related to responsibility teachers should take on,teaching strategies and specific teaching practice.The statement of teaching philosophy can make teachers＇ teaching philosophy clear and explicit,leading teachers＇ professional development.From the perspective of teachers,students and school management,this article analyzed the purpose of the statement of teaching philosophy,discussed the principles it should adhere to,the contents it covers and the related strategies,and provided guidelines for university teachers to form and develop the statement of teaching philosophy.
