西藏阿里普兰观音碑考略

Textual Research of the Avalokiteshvara Stone Tablet in Burang County of Ngari Area in Tibet

普兰观音碑是迄今所知阿里地区境内年代最早的一通石碑,尤其作为"造像碑"形式的一通早期石碑,对于探讨西藏上部阿里历史文化和佛教艺术具有重要的参考价值。文章就这通石碑的基本情况、研究概况、形制特征等作了简要介绍,为研究者提供有关这通碑的基础资料,并希望进一步深入这通造像碑的学术研究。

The Avalokiteshvara stone tablet found in Burang County of Ngari area is so far the oldest stone tablet in that area. As a statue tablet from an early age, it is of great value in the exploration of Ngari ＇ s history and cul- ture as well as its Buddhist art. This article is a brief introduction of the tablet from the aspects of its basic infor- mation, the tablet-related research, its features and so on. It attempts to provide the basic information about the table to the researchers who will do further research of it.
