PDO Industry Status and Development Suggestions

聚对苯二甲酸丙二醇酯(PTT)是由精对苯二甲酸(PTA)与1,3-丙二醇(PDO)聚合而成的聚酯产品,因其具备不变形、弹性好,综合性能优越等特点,确定了它广阔的应用领域和发展前景。通过对国内外PDO/PTT的生产技术及产业现状进行分析,发现生物法PDO工业化生产占据了主导地位,而国内由华美生物工程有限公司、盛虹控股集团有限公司采用华东理工大学、清华大学技术的10 kt/a级装置,形成了2个封闭的产业链(PDO-PTT-PTT纤维),导致PTT行业发展缓慢,其他企业只能为美国杜邦公司代工生产。另外,PDO的原料甘油价格居高不下,造成PDO/PTT生产成本偏高,投资热情不高。针对上述产业现状,提出了开发低廉成本、原料易得的化学法PDO生产技术,联合下游化纤企业形成产业联盟,破除垄断,优化改进面料加工技术,促进PDO/PTT行业健康发展的建议。

Polytrimethylene terephthalate （PTT） is a kind of polyester product potymenzed trom p - terepnmanc acid （PTA） and 1,3 - propanediol （PDO）. Its characteristics of non - deformation, good elasticity and comprehensive performance superiority determined its broad application areas and development prospects. Based on analysis of production technology and industrial status of PDO/PTI＂ at home and abroad, it is found that the industrial production of PDO by biological method occupies the leading position currently. However, the two domestic enterprises CUSABIO and Shenghong Group adopt the 10 kt class technology developed by East China University of Science and Technology and Tsinghua University Device, and monopolizes the entire PTT market through two closed industrial chain （PDO - PTT - PTY fiber）. As a result, the domestic industry develops slowly, and other companies can only do OEM production for the United States company DuPont. In addition, the price of glycerol, raw material of PDO is so high that the production cost of PDO/ PTT is high and the investment enthusiasm is low. In view of the status quo of the above industries, this paper puts forward suggestions on developing PDO production technology with low cost and easily available raw materials, forming industrial alliance with downstream chemical fiber enterprises, breaking monopoly, optimizing and improving fabric processing technology and promoting the healthy development of PDO/PTY industry.
