中部地区本科高校人文社会科学科研效率分析——基于不同类型高校

Evaluation on research efficiency about humanities and social science of undergraduate universities in the central region: based on different types of universities

运用DEA方法对中部地区三类本科高校人文社会科学的科研效率进行评价,结果发现,三类高校人文社会科学综合效率均小于0.4,人文社会科学科研投入产出效率偏低,三类高校人文社会科学综合效率、技术效率和规模效率整体未达到DEA有效;人文社会科学综合效率依次是985高校、211高校和其他公办本科高校,技术效率依次是211高校、985高校和其他公办本科高校,规模效率依次是其他公办本科高校、985高校和211高校;综合效率是否DEA有效与高校类型没有直接的因果关系,在非DEA有效的高校中,人文社会科学技术效率普遍高于综合效率和规模效率。据此,未达到DEA有效的三类高校均需要从技术效率和规模效率两方面改进人文社会科学科研效率。

This paper used the DEA method to evaluate the research efficiency about humanities and social science of three types of undergraduate universities in the central region and got the following results ： The comprehensive efficiency of humanities and social science is less than 0.4 for three types of university, humanities and social science research efficiency is low, the comprehensive efficiency, technical efficiency and scale efficiency of humanities and social sciences of three types of university do not reach DEA ; The comprehensive efficiency of humanities and social sciences ranks as 985 universities, 211 universities and other public universities successively, the technical efficiency as 211 universities, 985 universities and other public universities successively and the scale efficiency as other public universities, 985 universities and 211 colleges and universities successively. Whether the comprehensive efficiency has DEA effi- ciency or not does not have a direct causal relationship with university type, the technical efficiency of humanities and social sciences is generally higher than the comprehensive efficiency and the scale efficiency in the non DEA effective university. Therefore, all universities that fail to achieve DEA efficiency need to improve the efficiency of human and social sciences research from two aspects of technical efficiency and scale efficiency.
