OBJECTIVE To explore the forward curative effect on hyperopia anisometropia amblyopia of older children with health education path.METHODS 106 older children patients of hyperopia anisometropia amblyopia were divided into 10 to 12 years old group and 13 to 15 years old group. And they were divided into mild group,mod-erate group and severe group according to the extent of amblyopia. All patients were treated with combined therapy of Chinese and western medicine with health education path.To evaluate the curative effect and influencing factors of this treatment.RESULTS The total effective rate was 83.02%,the essential cure rate was 73.58%,the total cure rate was 64.15% afrer cured by more than 3 years. The total effective rate of 10 to 12 years old group was 93.75%,it of 13 to 15 years old group was 66.67%.There were statistically significant between two groups(P〈0.05).The total effective rate of the mild amblyopia group, the moderate amblyopia gyoup and the severe amblyopia group were 100%, 83.33%and 57.69% respectively. There was a significant difference among three groups(P〈0.05).The recurrence rate of visual acuity in essential cure patients was 12.82%.There was no significant difference among three groups( P〈0.05).CONCLUSIONS The forward effect on hyperopia anisometropia amblyopia of older children with health education path is stable. The major influencing factors of this treatment were the first outpatient age, extent of amblypoia and degree of anisometropia.
