文化的迁移与诗意的再现——浅谈《西和乞巧歌》的英译

《西和乞巧歌》是一部中国民间歌谣集,承载着丰富的社会历史和民俗文化。通过翻译将蕴含中国传统文化的《西和乞巧歌》向英语世界传播具有重要的文化意义与价值,同时也是译者义不容辞的责任。在英译《西和乞巧歌》的过程中,译者面临大量的文化缺省现象,为了使目的语读者能更好地了解歌谣集蕴含的文化意义,译者采用了文化借用、种子移植等翻译策略,使源语文本中的文化缺省得到了适当的补偿;并且还运用"化译"策略及许渊冲的译诗"三美"原则,使译作实现了音美、形美、意美的诗意再现,从而达到了翻译文学的"真"与"美"。
