摘要
目的 本研究基于Andrews口颌面协调六要素的美学理论,尝试对Twin-Block矫治Ⅱ^1错(牙合)引起的颌骨、牙齿及软组织侧貌改变进行评价分析.方法 本研究共收集16名戴用Twin-Block矫治结束的10~12.5岁Ⅱ^1错(牙合)患者(男女各8例),利用GALl线作为参考平面对矫治前后的头颅定位侧位片进行测量,并以传统的评价指标为对照,评价矫治前后软硬组织的变化.测量所得的数据资料由SPSS16.0完成统计学分析.结果 16例患者矫治后,以GALL线为参考平面的测量指标得出了与传统评价指标基本一致的结果,下颌骨长度明显增加,下颌位置前移,面下1/3高度增加,上下颌骨的矢状向关系更加协调,上下牙列的覆(牙合)覆盖明显改善,因而软组织侧貌更加协调.结论 这种基于面部协调美学理论的评价方法可以有效直观的反映出Ⅱ^1错(牙合)患者戴用Twin-Block矫治后的牙、颌、面关系的改善,较传统的评价测量方法更加直观及个性化.
Objective Based on the theory of Andrews's six elements of orofacial harmony,the aim of this study was to evaluate the changes of dentoskeletal and soft tissue profile following the appliance of Twin-Block in children Class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion.Methods The study included 16 growing children of skeletal Class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion (8 boys and 8 girls).GALL line was used as a reference plane as well as traditional measurements as control.Cephalometric pre-and post-functional treatment measurements were obtained and analyzed statistically using studenfs paired t-test with SPSS16.0.Results The measurements whether by GALL reference and by traditional cephalometric reference showed same results.After treatments,in all 16 patients,the mandibular length increased significantly,and the mandible sagittal advancement was significant,and the height of lower face increased.The overjet and overbite were also improved obviously.The maxillomandibular skeletal relationship in the sagittal was more harmonious improving the soft tissue profile and facial esthetics.Conclusions This paper demonstrated that the method combining the theory of orofacial harmony could intuitively reflect the changes of dento-maxillofacial profile of Class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion children before and after Twin-Block treatments,and was more direct and customized comparing to traditional methods.
