A Passenger Injury Case Caused by Failure of Escalator Components

自动扶梯在公共场所应用广泛,其安全隐患不容忽视。本文以一例自动扶梯乘用人员摔倒事故为例,强调了自动扶梯扶手带与梯级速度允差对整梯运行和安全性能的影响;同时,通过对扶手带与梯级不同步的原因进行深入剖析,针对扶手带传动系统存在的滚柱轴承锈蚀、咬死等设备缺陷,提出相应的预防措施,以避免类似事故的再次发生。

Escalator is widely used in public places, while its security risks cannot be ignored. This paper took an example of an escalator passenger falling accident, emphasized the influence of speed difference between escalator handrail and step on the operation and safety performance of escalator. At the same time, by deeply reason analysis of the speed difference between escalator handrail and step, aiming at the existing equipment defects of the handrail belt drive system, such as roller bearing corrosion and killing, this article put forward some corresponding preventive measures to avoid the recurrence of similar accidents.
