The spreader bar is often used in lifting operations. The spreader bar used in conventional lifting process has been introduced in the text, and its shortcomings and disadvantages have been analyzed. A new kind of multiple spans lifting spreader bar has been proposed. A single spreader bar can realize different lifting requirement, which can remedy the shortage of the conventional lifting spreader bar, reduce the waste of resources, and improve the production efficiency with saved storage space.
