中国现代汉英双语作家与抗战时期中华文化的欧美传播——以熊式一、蒋彝及其作品为中心的考察

Modern Chinese Bilingual Writers and the Diffusion of Chinese Culture in Europe and America during the Anti-Japanese War: An Investigation to Xiong Shiyi,Chiang Yee and Their Works

熊式一、蒋彝与林语堂一样都是中国现代文学史上著名的汉英双语作家。抗战时期,他们身处异邦,以"多元文化人"的身份娴熟地运用英语进行创作,在欧美所传播的中华文化,体现出了东西方文化"杂交性"的品格。围绕中华文化传播主体性的确立、中华文化与受众的持续对话而进行的创作,既为赢得欧美受众对中华文化的认同、欧美盟国对中国的民意支持创造了条件,也有利于消解和否定"东方主义"、"恩扶主义",建构起特殊时期中国的国家形象。

Like Lin Yutang, Xiong Shiyi and Chiang Yee are well - known Chinese and English bilingual writers in the history of modem Chinese literature. They were living in foreign countries in the period of the War of Resistance against Japan and wrote skillfully in English as ＂multieultural people＂. The Chinese culture they spread in Europe and the United States reflected the character of ＂hybridity＂ between Eastern and Western cultures. Around the establishment of the subjectivity of Chinese culture spread and the continuous dialogue between Chinese culture and the audience, their works had not only won the approval of the European and American audiences for Chinese culture, but also created conditions for the public＇s support of China in Europe and the United States. In addition, they were conducive to the removal and negation of ＂Oriental -ism＂ and ＂Eun doctrine＂ as well as the construction of a national image of China in the special time.
