Changning （a district in Shanghai） Women＇s Federation,the Changning Petition Handling Office and the ChangningCommittee for the Comprehensive Management of PublicSecurity on January 26 held a conJ;erence, during which theorganizations＇ officials announced they would implementprojects to help women and children protect their legalrights and interests. The officials also announced theywould establish a center to offer services to residents, tohelp them resolve disputes within families.
