Firmly grasping the connotation and essence of the people＇s livelihood thought has a significant and far-reaching impact on continuing to build a well-off society in an all-round way and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. There are still many problems in the people＇s livelihood in China, such as difficulties of labor force employment, the downward pressure of the economy, the schooling, housing, medical care issues of the children of urban migrant workers. To solve the above problems, we have to be on the basis of the theory of the socialist political economics with Chinese characteristics, establish and perfect the system of vocational education and training for the labor tbrce, strengthen labor force especially the transfer of rural surplus labor employment training, improve the social security system and make people＇s sharing of the fruits of development. We should fully understand the long-term and arduous nature of people＇s livelihood issue.
