社会资本与牧户草地租赁倾向

Understanding the influence of social capital on herder's grassland rental decision

草地租赁市场是牧户实现草地资源从"失配"到"适配"的有效途径。文中基于来自呼伦贝尔盟和锡林郭勒盟共422个牧户的数据,在构建社会资本指标体系的基础上,采用Bivariate Probit模型,分析社会资本对牧户草地租赁倾向的影响。结果证实了:1)社会资本能够显著提高牧户的草地租入倾向,但是对牧户的草地租出倾向并不具有显著影响;2)牧户的租入和租出决策之间并不存在显著的关联性;3)具有较高社会资本并且相对年轻(年龄小于57岁)的牧户更倾向于租入草场。基于所得结论,文中认为应重视社会资本等非正式制度在草地租赁市场中具有的重要作用。

Grassland rental market is one of the effective methods to reallocate grassland resources. This research analyzed the influence of social capital on herder＇ s grassland rental decision by applying Bivariate probit model and 422 households＇ data in 2011 collected from Inner Mongolia. Results show that ： 1 ） social capital increased herder＇ s rent - in probability, while the effect of social capital on herder＇ s rent - out decision was not signifi- cant. 2） Herder＇ s rent - in and rent - out decisions were not correlated. 3） Younger herders （younger than 57 years） with higher social capital were more likely to rent grassland. According to the results, we suggest that more attention should be payed to social capital and other informal system in grassland rental market.
