On the Confucian Nature of WANG Bi's Metaphysics

摘要 魏晋玄学的定性一直是学界争论的传统问题。否认玄学属于儒家的观点其主要理由有二,一是玄学崇尚自然无为,而自然无为乃是道家的专利;二是儒家尊天而使玄学本无,玄学以天为有,而有生于无,置无于天地之上。事实上这两点都不构成否定玄学儒学性质的充要理由。加之王弼对纲常名教的主要教义均持肯认态度,故有理由认为以王弼为代表的玄学在本质上仍然属于儒家学统。 The nature of Metaphysics has always been a controversial issue in the academic circle. There are twomain reasons for denying Metaphysics to belong to Confucianism. First, metaphysics advocates nature and inaction, while it is the patent of taoism. Second, it is the Confucian respect for Tian, but according to Metaphysics, it holdsthat“Tian” is “you” while“you” borned from“Wu” , The position of Wu is higher than Tian. In fact, these two pointsdo not constitute the necessary and sufficient reasons for denying the Confucian nature of metaphysics. In additionto WANG Bi’ s recognition of Confucian doctrine, is positive there is reas believe that the metaphysics representedby Wang Bi in essence still belong to the Confucian tradition.
