摘要
《汉语方言学大词典》是我国历史上第一部百科性的方言学大型辞书。本文对编纂的缘起、宗旨和学术价值,以及这本约400万字上下两卷的大词典的内容、框架和编写体例等作简略介绍,并结合编纂的实践历程谈谈对建设人文社科重大学术工程的一些体会。
A Comprehensive Dictionary of Chinese Dialectology, with two volumes containing 4,000,000 characters, is the first encyclopedic dictionary of dialectology of such a volume in Chinese history. This article introduces the background, purpose, academic significance, content,framework and regulations of this dictionary. Based on the experiences during the process of the compilation,it also proposes some thoughts on the construction of major academic projects in humanities and social sciences.
