Scientific investigation is incomplete without publishing to the public.An effective scientific journal serves as a great platform for multiple purposes such as reporting discoveries,exchanging ideas,discussing policies,or debating serious issues in science and society,Science Bulletin(Sci.Bull.),although in its infancy,aims to be exactly that kind of journal.I am truly humbled for the privilege to serve as the Editor-inChief of Science Bulletin(Sci.Bull.).We are indebted to Prof.XiaoYa Chen and the former members of the Editorial Board in the
