“有失”“失之”辨——以“有失偏颇”“失之偏颇”为例

"失之偏颇"一词的意思是偏于某一方面。在日常交际甚至权威的著作和媒体中经常出现"失之偏颇"和"有失偏颇"混用的情况,使读者和受众不能辨其正误。其实这两个词语有明显的差异,除了语义指向不同之外,二者的结构功能和组合功能也有明显的不同,"有失偏颇"属于误用,真正规范的表达应该是"失之偏颇"。

The meaning of the word ＂biased＂ is partial to one aspect. There are mixed use between ＂biased＂ and ＂lopsided＂ in the daily communication, authoritative writings and the media, so audiences and the readers cannot distinguish difference and correctness between two words. In fact, these two words have obvious differences, in addition to the semantic point, where are significant differences in the structural function and combination of functions. From the multi-angle argument the article thinks that ＂biased＂ belongs to the misuse, the real norms of expression should be ＂lopsided＂.
